I can only say that I have never had a project go so well as when your folks were working on my home. I have had several projects go badly, so I know the difference. You and your staff made the entire process painless and for that I thank you.

Please offer my sincere thanks to your craftsman, and I do mean craftsman. The skill exhibited by you folks was tremendous at every stage of the build. Their professionalism was truly demonstrated by the smooth and effortless way that they handled the constant changes we made to the plan. They even managed to keep my wife happy, no small task I might add.

What do you do when you live in Hamilton , Ontario , and you want to build on a piece of property you own in Prince Edward Island ? You look for conscientious, reliable, capable, and, above all, honest contractors with whom you can work to design and build your dream home. For us, those builders were Chris and his father Dale Cahill of Cahill Construction.

Having purchased a piece of seaside property in 2000, we used the “word of mouth” system to find our builders. After talking to Chris on the phone, we put our faith in Cahill Construction to make our dream come true. Over the winter months, we engaged in long telephone discussions as we made critical design decisions; then, Chris, Dale and company guided us through the sometimes baffling process that one has to negotiate to build a home “from scratch”.

Cahill Construction provided us with quality workmanship at a fair price. They made commitments to us and kept them. They went the extra mile to ensure that our new home lived up to our “dream” expectations.

When Bryan 's mom decided to join us in PEI , Cahill Construction built a beautiful addition to our house to serve as our “granny suite”. When Bryan decided he needed a garage, we called upon Chris and Dale's company once again to do the job

The addition of David Macaulay to the firm has only strengthened an already outstanding company. David provided us with invaluable advice as we struggled with difficult decisions: how do you adjust roof lines for the addition without causing problems in the future? And, later, how do you most efficiently place the garage on an oddly shaped piece of property? His expertise with the computer has added a whole new dimension to the services offered by Cahill Construction.

In 2000 we took a leap of faith when we contacted Chris and Dale Cahill. We have never regretted that decision.

We had our house built by Cahill Construction because of good reports from other house owners. The homeowners indicated how well Cahill Construction was to communicate with and was always there to answer questions.

We were not around when our house was built which made it much more difficult for them and us, but with emailing and phone we were able to trust their judgement during the construction. They gave us many suggestions about deciding issues re size, colors, material, etc. We were completely confident with their expertize.

Before we decided to hire Cahill Construction we talked to about four home owners that had them build their homes. Nothing but positive comments were said. We would definitely consider this company for their expertize, pleasant and friendly people, great to communicate, etc. If you need further coments or if you wish to view their work, we would be glad to show you our home.
